SCARLET OYSTER

Scarlet Oyster is a very well travelled yacht, with 13 Atlantic crossings under her keel.

She has competed in almost every RORC season since 1999, and only missed the 2009 Fastnet (as she was sailing around Britain with the Ellen MacArthur Cancer Trust).

She has managed to make the podium in class in every Fastnet she has completed since 2005. Scoring 5 second places and 2 firsts!

She has been in current family ownership for 32 years, so is really part of the family!

Since 2011 she has done a great deal of race chartering, and has a loyal team of regulars, several of whom have chalked up over 20,000 miles onboard! Her owner Ross has logged over 150,000miles onboard her, such knowledge of the yacht is probably one of our biggest strengths on the race course.
