Experienced Merchant Mariner with 6 years of sea-going service as an officer in charge of a navigational watch across 7 different vessel types, including both civilian and military platforms. Avid offshore sailor with over 20 offshore races, including one Newport to Bermuda, on various yachts. Sailing experience ranges from Lasers to Super Maxi's.

Savannah Taylor is a Canadian offshore and match racing sailor based in Nova Scotia. She has skippered offshore campaigns in the Newport to Bermuda Race and Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race, and served as navigator in the RORC Caribbean 600. Recent offshore podium finishes include the Vineyard Race (Top Corinthian 2024, ORC Overall 2025) and the ORC Worlds. Savannah recently represented Canada at the Offshore Double Handed World Championship and brings extensive experience in both short-handed and fully crewed offshore racing. When not sailing, she works as a Civil Engineer and has also been active in the marine industry as a day skipper and racing coach.
